It's only mid-January but Kentucky's basketball season could be coming to an early crossroads after another loss over the weekend to Texas A&M in Rupp Arena. John Calipari insisted on Monday his team played better than the final score would indicate but the fact remains the Wildcats continue to leave themselves very little margin for error the rest of the way.

Some interesting Nerlens Noel stats:
Nerlens Noel and Willie Cauley-Stein have 87 combined blocks, good for 5.8 per game. Only 13 TEAMS in country average more per game. Noel ranks fourth nationally in blocks per game (3.73), 12th in steals (2.67) and 37th in rebounds (9.3)

Kentucky had better be careful. Despite winning 50+ at home, losses to Baylor and Texas A&M and Tennessee playing with zero fear in Rupp.

This team is just not very good. We have no go to guys on the perimeter and we dont feed the post very much. this team needs an identity and they dont have one. Only thing that can save this team is if they learn to play lock down defense which they donot.

I donot see Poythress or Goodwin as nba players. Next years team could be very deep. lol I think Cal has finally seen what can happen with his style of recruiting.
