Stoops has strong ties in Ohio, which could finally pay dividends for UK recruiting-wise.

New Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops says he'll recruit his home state of Ohio "very hard," something the Wildcats have had trouble with in recent years.

Trinity has been more than holding its own against Ohio schools for over ten years now. I hope that the new staff tries to get there and mend some fences and start a food chain from Trinity to UK. Certainly Coach Stoops, who played at Cardinal Moody can understand the Catholic school landscape and recognize that Trinity has had much success against many of Ohio's top programs. For UK to always draw a blank from Trinity is ludicrous, especially with Ryan White a Vandy commit, whose uncle Oliver White played at UK

^Agree on Trinity and the Louisville area - we really need an assistant that can get a foothold in there - it's very important.
