You totally misread that, not saying I wouldn't take him. You take him cause he can push players and that will make the team better. This is not basketball where any big time kid is ready out of the gate. Stoops doesn't have pressure to win big time for year one, can red shirt and build his program. Why do you think Joker lost his job? Him rushing players was a big part of it, Stoops won't make the same mistake. Woulard is very talented but let a kid get into college and go from there, who knows whats going to happen

I pretty much agree with everything you said. I just firmly believe you take the most talented players you can. And you also play the most talented guys no matter their age. I'm not saying I would start Woulard from day one. He may not even be healthy enough to play at that time. I'm just saying he has more talent than anyone else we have.

Phillips will have a significant head start over Woulard (if Woulard commits) because he will be here for and participating in spring practice. I don't think that is insignificant by any stretch.Therefore questioning UKani's (apparent) assertion that Phillips will be a nonexistent factor if Smith goes down is both reasonable and appropriate football discussion.

I don't see how that suggests I am not excited about this kid or upset that someone else gives praise to him. Discussion involves give and take, compare and contrast, and the challenging of statements made.

Are you sorry that I feel "upset" at your claims? I ended that sentence with the emoticon of a colon followed by a capital P, or :P, basically a smiley with a tongue sticking out.

So, I jokingly stated that I was upset you called me upset, stated that I don't understand how my statement led you to believe I was upset, and ended with a shrug cause it was no big deal.
Seeing the quote that led you to believe I was upset leaves me to still wonder how I am supposed to ask a question voicing disagreement without being labeled "upset".
