  • Am I the only one who strongly dislikes this change? I much prefer segregating the boards by sport. That way if I only want to look for football news (or basketball for that matter) I don't have to shift through threads that do not pertain to my interests. It seems that you could have easily merged the HOB into the existing boards by eliminating the HOB.

    And please don't misconstrue this as a football v basketball post.

    I think my bigbluefans site is also a valuable resource for those who are interested in what I have assembled there. Stories, audio of Rupp and others, memorabilia, and of course, the efficiency data.

    The thought was getting everything under one roof (one-stop shopping, so to speak) to strengthen the overall community.

    I think maybe we'll have to focus on writing better subject titles in order to make it more clear what sport we're referring to.

    I prefer it this way. . . It's much easier to see where the most conversation is, and should prevent some of the multiple threads discussing the same exact thing. . .

    That was the toughest thing for me (and the other writers/mods). I would often forget how long it had been since I checked in on the free hoops or football board, and I'm sure I missed some good discussion at times. Also, you had people that got real cozy with the HoB and probably didn't bother to visit the other boards.
