  • I don't doubt for a second that Jones has an injury. Nevertheless, there has to be great concern about his attitude right now, injured or not. His demeanor has not changed, much less improved. He seems emotionless and detached. Something is up.

    I just don't think people understand, this is just part of Jones personality. He gets down on himself and it's showing right now. Has to be frustrating for him to try and come out this game and prove a point and hurts his hand.

    But the attitude is just part of something that Jones is and something he has to continue to work on.

    His act is fine to a certain extent if he's contributing. At what point is his pouting (for lack of a better description) no longer acceptable because of the negative impact it could or is having on the team?

    This. If he wants to keep pouting and getting down on himself so bad it hurts his game and the team for weeks on end, he can go on to the league with that ish.

    Exactly... I think some people are totally misreading Jones. While some are busting his chops and accusing him of having an attitude problem, HE is most likely beating "himself" up over his performance and really disgusted with himself for letting BBN down.. and "THAT" is what we are seeing... NOT "bad attitude". I think he really wants to please and impress the fans so bad each and every game, that it crushes him when he feels like he is letting us down. I think he has very high expectations for himself (as star players do), so when he under performs, he feels like he has let everyone else down... his teammates, his coach, his fans, his family, etc. That really crushes some players more than others and it takes some players longer than others to get out of that funk. He WILL recover, but the added pressure of hearing false accusations about attitude problems and knowing the fans displeasure in him... really compounds the problem if you ask me. People need to back off... they are only making it worse. IMHO

    Hell yeah... dealing with one right this second. I jammed it at work about a month ago and thought no big deal (as usual). I figured it was just a sprain that would soon heal up on its own and be good as new (as usual). WRONG! Now the middle knuckle feels out of place... I feel the bone sticking out on one side, I can't make a solid, closed fist and it still hurts like hell. I know I am way past due on seeing the doc about it, but it appears to be inevitable.
