Boyd has more catches in this first half (7) than he did in his entire career coming in (6).

Think it just shows that Joker knows it was the wrong move last week. However, we are playing a weaker D and at home so that might have something to do with it too I'm sure.

Love the way the offense is playing. Granted, against a defense we should be torching. Need to get the D to get going. 6 quarters now and 0 forced turnovers. Before last year, UK, imo, was still a bend but not break D but would find ways to force turnovers. Were terrible at that last year and looks like it has continued for this season.

I'll take that first half. We may not have anything special on our hands this season but team looks better than last year, Joker deserves credit for that.

The only reason I bring this up is that he is a possesion receiver and fits this offense...kind of like what Roark did last year after Smith took over

Kent State's Trayion Durham, whom UK recruited for a spell, has 11 carries for 41 yards and 2 catches for 16 yards. He's a load.
KSU averaging 6.2 yards per rush. That's not good.

Landon Foster averaged 51 yards on two punts and bailed UK out of two field position jams. Amazing his only scholarship offers were Vanderbilt and WKU.
Speaking as a lifelong Raiders fan who watched Ray Guy, having a great punter is a huge weapon.

I think ISU turned the ball over 3 times in the red zone, 4 times total. They should have destroyed Iowa.

Have to agree. It truly could not be any worse. Didn't even Mizzou State hold UL to fewer points than we did (with Bridgewater playing until late in the 4th quarter)?
