What did he say?

Talking about beating out big schools for "guys like Jason Hatcher."

Said the last name... then said "well, we HOPE we get the Hatcher kid" in an attempt to rewind. So, said his last name twice. Not the full name, and didn't describe him at all.

Even if not, it's a secondary violation. No big deal. Schools self-report tons of those.

Yeah, all we have to do is say we already had the LOI but were just holding it out of respect for his announcement (a la tubby smith). The rest of his teammates have already sent theirs.

I wonder if we might see some position changes during spring ball. We might see some RB's and TE's move to the defensive side of the ball. It seems that we have way to many TE's and perhaps a few to many RB's right now. Thoughts?

I think we'll see some changes, but not really with the RB's or TE's. The majority of our TE class are Seniors and it may be too late to change them to something else. I can't think of any RB's that could play other positions.

We may see Lowery leave the safety position and aim for a OLB position or something. Then, of course, safety/CB/WR......they switch quite often.

Matt......is it really necessary to point out a "secondary violation" Is that necessary? Couldn't you just "let the sleeping dog lay", or did you just have to show your level of knowledge..........the less attention brought to these sort of issues the better off everyone is.

I don't think what Matt says will matter in the least. It is reported on other sites already. The most important part is how the University handles it. As Matt said, there are tons of these for every school.
