Sumlin says that being in the SEC has 'no doubt increased our footprint, especially moving east' as it relates to recruiting.

as i have a very tiny amount of ACTUAL media experience, i don't have te greatest opinion, but having a seat at the games in the box really isn't that different from in the crowd. Now, for live streams or chats, the box is required, but i had a day after radio show, and the box was just a nice, quiet, and AC'ed seat at the games. My point being, credentials really doesn't help anyone cover the teams they do, unless you have a live thing you need to update. I'm sure most of the credentialed people at the media days are there more for being there than the "awesome" articles they will write afterwards. again, MY OPINION, and i'm not forcing it on anyone.

Steve Spurrier says when he took the South Carolina job he thought he'd be there 8-10 years. This is his 8th year in Columbia.
