This is about a bad a half of basketball I've ever seen the Cats play under Calipari. No hustle, no nothing. A young team that is really playing DOWN to the level of competition. The Cats should be embarrased by that 1st half performance pure and simple! Disgusting is about the best word to describe that crapola.

Don't really know what to think about this years Cats. Last week Matt and others pointed out that Cal seemed more frustrated than usual at this time of the year and seems disappointed w/how they are progressing. Based on the 1st half, I'd say that unhappiness will continue. These guys really just seem disinterested right now and are really just playing lazy and undisciplined bball. No sense of continuity offensively and also getting beat on all the hustle plays, really poor rebounding, lazy defense etc. I understand a let down somewhat after the UL game but this is really really really bad.

Cats trailed Miami (Ohio) 39-36 at the half of Cal's 2nd game at UK. But that was a better program than ALR.

And the sloppy uninspired play continues. I thought they were suppossed to get better w/all the practice time. 2nd game in a row the offensive looks putrid but the difference is the overall hustle and desire just isn't there right now.

Cats have extremely regressed as far as turnovers go. And what bothers me most is how many Darius has committed. He has the most time of anyone in the offense

Cal's gotta accept some responsibility for this, too, IMO. I've yet to see a play run that isolates any of these lower-level players on ALR's team. What is UK trying to do on offense? It's just five guys standing around until one forces a shot. Would like to see some screening, cuts, etc.
