You're comparing Teague in his first 4 games to the finished product in Wall/Knight. Both of them went through some growing pains with turnovers, too.

He's going to be a good one. Just going to take some time.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Teague is a good one, he just isn't able to score like Knight did early on which took the focus off his early turnovers.

  • The refs were either blind or just not paying attention for quite a bit of the game that I watched. Teague just needs to calm down and take it one step at a time. I think he'll be fine, with more experience. Great game by Darius.

    Keep Calm & Stoops On..

  • They spent most of the game not calling anything, then went it got rough, started calling everything. It was a "How Not To Referee" training video.

  • I think the biggest problem I have with Teague is him driving way too far in, getting trapped, and not knowing what to do with the ball...that and his dancing side to side at the top of the arc. That drives me crazy.

Agree. Also, when to be fast, when to be a bit more restrained. On this part, I think Cal shares some responsibility. In every exhibition and game so far, I've heard him screaming to push, push, push. When you do that, you've got to live with some mistakes from your freshman PG early on.
