Justin Taylor, RB, 5-10, 200, Fr-HS, Atlanta, Ga. (North Atlanta) – Projected as one of the South’s top running backs heading into his senior season … Committed to Alabama prior to his senior year at North Atlanta HS but incurred a knee injury in September … Decided to re-open his recruitment after Alabama asked him to grayshirt … Knee rehabilitation is going well and is expected to be ready to compete when practice begins in August … Rushed for approximately 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior at Washington HS in Atlanta … Named All-Atlanta as a junior … One of the nation’s top-40 running backs by ESPN and 24/7 Sports … Coached by Stanley Pritchett.

Our RB class is great! The competition for pt in our backfield just went up 2 or 3 notches. Between these 2 and the returnees that should be fun to watch this fall! Hopefully Gainer can get over the nagging injuries too. I still think he can be big for us as well.

Someone may have jumped the gun at UK... Hearing the Taylor LOI is not in yet. Kid is supposedly at the fax machine, but hasn't sent it over as of 8:40 a.m.

They just announced Taylor to UK down here in Bham on sport talk radio. Said he announced on Twitter. Someone may want to check his Twitter page and see if that is true.

Sorry...I know its a lot of questions early.....

No huge surprises, unless you count Justin Taylor. But that was widely speculated last night, and we heard that he had given very positive feedback to the staff.
Too early to say on how this class will rate. Need to see if a couple late additions come in.
