2013

  • jeff and chris in my opinion some people are starting to get worried about 2013 just because we may not get parker and randle. at the worst we probably get the twins, walker and young and that is 4 top 8 players. also i dont know if people realize how good the twins are

  • Not too sure if anyone's worried about the 2013 class, we're in amazing shape with many of the recruits.. I was worried about the 2012 class and the way it was shaping up though before Noel re-classified, and as I was with due cause, as if Noel had not re-classified, we would not be in good shape, at all. Some reason I think UK is starting to lose ground with Walker now though, given they aren't showing any intent on an offer anytime soon.

By, "not in good shape at all" do you mean a top 5 class for the 4th straight year? We likely get Harrell or another big if Noel doesn't reclassify.

Thats a game that can played both ways, Noel did reclassify so it doesn't matter. What if Bennett would have had better grades and what if BAZZ's parents had lived in the mideast instead of out West, we might have gotten both. Cal has more of a grasp on recruiting then ANY coach that I have ever seen, he will get it done over and over until he has what he wants.

  • Who is worried? We likely have at least two top ten players before the end of the summer. And we already have Derek Willis.

  • We would not have gotten Harrell... And he was only available due to VT firing of Greenburg. And Noel re-classifying, which is what actually happened, and what legitimately had a chance of happening is two totally different things UKlaw. Bazz would have never lived in the mideast, Bennett had been falling behind since sophmore year, So any of your "scenarios" would be 100% irrelevant. My scenario actually makes sense compared to yours, due to Noel very easily could have stayed in the class of 2013, and was a legitimate chance.

But again NOEL did reclassify, message over and so is your irrelevant thought on it. lol

Only the thing is he reclassified around Christmas so Cal knew he was coming to this class. There were other recruits we never even sniffed at during our run to the title that would've gotten more attention from UK if Noel hadn't reclassified. Tony Parker and Ricardo Gathers to name two off the top of my head and we would've stood great chances with both had that happened.

  • The 2013 class is going to be a monster haul. Just depends on which pieces. I think we're still a long way from knowing exactly which fall into place.

But I definitely think you could make the argument that UK is the definitive leaders for the twins, Walker and Young.

Not a bad position to be in.
