"7 WINS" To Be Bowl Eligible... Do we drop the Cards?

  • JawJacker said...

I agree with all that. I think what sparked my rant... or my desire to make a convincing argument, is what I believe to be the inevitable truth... which is, UK will deem it necessary to drop the Cards (if or when the 7 Win minimum rule becomes reality)... and the thought of that just pisses me off.

The fact that our program allowed themselves, to be put in this position in the first place (where they feel the need that we MUST drop a mediocre team like the Cards)... just blows my mind and irks me to no end.

I understand those of you who are making the opposing argument... and the fact that I really (deep down inside) know you, most likely, are absolutely right about what will ultimately be the case, only adds to my "pissed offness"... and "irkness" as well.

That is gonna be a sad day... when I have to say goodbye to the Cards and hello to the Blind Pansy Ass Sissy's of the Poor.

But hey... we just might make a bowl game by golly!!!

Are you calling Blind people pansy ass sissy's. Thats just not right man.lol

You ARE insane... if such tasteless humor caused you to laugh out loud, until it brought tears to your eyes... PERIOD. Much less, the thought of allowing yourself to lose your cool, in a damn Kroger store of all places... for crying out loud.

I went and did it again... another pun. Someone is gonna want me banned over this slip up.

You know I'm joking... that actually was kinda funny (even tho it was aimed at me)

  • It was stupid I gotta admit. I'm not very smart and I don't follow recruiting very closely.

    Hot Dizzel.

  • Really a waste of time to discuss because politics will force the game to be played which is what forced UK to play the game in the first place.

UK should want to play them everyyear because it should be an easy win. Again, the blame falls on the admins who have let UK football become what it is were winning 6-7 games becomes a more important thing than improving recruiting and having a program that wins in the SEC year after year.

I agree with Jeff. No one outside of Kentucky cares about the UL-UK game. UL has put the equivalent of low to mid-level SEC teams on the field for most of the last decade . With expansion of the SEC UK should not schedule any difficult teams out of conference. Just because a national power like LSU plays another national power for a national TV date doesn't mean that a struggling program like UK should play a tougher schedule than necessary. Look at the out of conference schedules of the traditional football powers and please don't compare us to UGA-GT and UF-FSU, all previous national champions. We all know that the UK game is one of the most if not the most important on the UL schedule and has helped them build their program. The game means more to them and they get much more out of playing it. From a UK program standpoint there is no question that a bowl game is much more important than the UL game. I would drop it in a heartbeat especially if the 7 game bowl minimum passes.

Z is zpot on ! Louisville needs UK, UK does not need Louisville, and outside of the state, no one gives a ratsass about that game. Dump it yesterday already.............wouldn't have been soon enough.

I have to reluctantly agree. The only reason any if us would truly want to keep this game is because we loathe UofHell and enjoy beating them in anything. Other than bragging rights we don't gain anything from it.

We have much more to lose than they do in this series.
