He did play well the last two games. He is very active. On the other hand let's not get carried away. UK is giving up 190 ypg rushing and mostly over the DT's. Good for him but our rush defense is about 96th in the country.

having a 330 lb DT out the last two weeks doesnt help. The run defense has improved a bit - but I do agree we still have a ways to go.

Out of 200 yds rushing USC had Shaw had 76 and many of them came by escaping the pocket not around end. 120 went to Lattimore between the tackles and the rest to some back up backs. Johnson is much better than he has been and flies around making plays but the overall DL play is at a really low level right now.

Sure, Lattimore may be the best back in the country. He is really good.
