A call to arms

After a post I had just now send directed towards MinterWonderland I got to thinkin...I know I know, its a scary thought. Lmao.
As nearly everyone is already well aware (regardless of your point of view, LOD or sunshine pumpers) this season is a crucial crucial and serious pivotal season for our Wildcats and our program going forward. While we may not all agree on the administration or staffing, I hope its safe to say that we can easily all agree on one thing...WE ALL WHOLE HEARTEDLY LOVER UK.
Because of just how important this season is and the ramifications of a disappointing campaign, our beloved Wildcats need a unified front and unified fan base now more than recent memory, and maybe ever. I am offering, asking, and even pleading that all of us put aside our difference of opinions and just get behind out you men in blue and give em or all. Not just at games but here as well and every other mess board.
Regardless of our perceptions or difference of opinions, everyone has somethin to contribute to discussion and conversation. If we win and pay well every week I know the boards will be positive and fun to participate in, but the true challenge of a fan is when times are bad. Its that challenge that many of us have failed at and failed miserably. Lets change that!
I know I'm probably wasting my time and my plea will more than likely fall on deaf keyboards but I thought id give it a shot.

I agree we do need to support our boys and do our best to treat each other with alittle respect. I just hope these guys come out against UofL and play well. They finished the season strong. Hopefully they start out that way and win some games. If they start out with a win over UofL that would help Joker a ton. The SEC is going to be a tough.

I couldn't agree more that the UofGotohell game is probably the most crucial game on the schedule, but that being said, even IF we lose (but I think hey over look us just like we did last year they have drank their own koolaide and will screw them imo) the season. Is not lost or over as some on here may think. We would still have 3 OOC games we should easily win plus games against, Miss St., Vandy, and UT that we can/should win and get us back to a bowl.
With so much going talent that should start really paying dividends next year, if we can make a bowl game during a bridge year that's a HUGE season imo.

I don't agree with a lot of people on this board but I do think it's time to get behind this team and staff. I love these guys and I vow to not say anything negative from here on out, at least until the season starts. I just want these guys to give me something to believe in.

I have supported out team for 35 years. I will continue to do so, pulling for them with al I hav e in every game. I truly hope Joker and staff can turn it around this year and build the program we all want. But, if this team starts out as weak as last year's I will be screaming for a change.

I'm just encouraged that no one has hijacked the thread yet!
Of course, I am ALL IN with anyone wearing the Kentucky Blue. It is on us as fans to support these kids and show them that we believe in them. As an athlete, nothing is better than having people believe in you, and nothing more crushing that having your own fans give up on you. It's our choice which ones we will be.
I for one am SUPER excited about this season, and think a lot of these kids are sick of hearing how bad they're going to be, and are going to surprise a lot of people.
Oh....and beat Louisville.

In all seriousness - I'm 100% behind the football team. I can't wait for the season to start and will do my best to catch every game. Ive always been a positive fan, even last year when we weren't doing that good. I guess you could say I'm a "sunshine pumper", but I wear that proudly.

Yeah I'm really hoping Joker learned his lesson with that. But hey its okay he was a new head coach trying to create some excitement and it backfired. No sense to continue to hate on him. I think now he realizes that its about winning football games.

Some seasons are harder then others but even with Curry, I was hoping things would turn around sometime. And even though it didn't, I didn't lose faith then, nor now. I am still onboard.
