You mean live updates from highschool basketball off season tournaments full of players we may or may not get or care about is more important than a football season that is rapidly approaching and being discussed by our member conference by our team and teams we will play........absurd (obviously I feel your pain).

how does some aau tourney relate to kentucky basketball? i wouldn't mind the recruits interviews like football gets during basketball season.
but i'm with the OP, come on its less than a month til fall practice is open, and yet the big thing is a summer league for a basketball?? i'd be fine with basically zero basketball coverage in the summer.
but again this is why kentucky has this stigma. do any other SEC schools have basketball articles or coverage whatsoever right now?

Normally I refrain from complaining about football coverage but today is kind of ubsurd. On the day UK.is up at SEC media days the lead story is about basketball recruiting. Not a commitment but on a summer camp. Really? Come on guys, I love basketball to but concentrate on football today. If it was basketball media days that is all that would be covered. Not saying u shouldn't cover basketball recruiting, it just should not be the lead story.

Maybe not. They suck.
I do not understand why this is such a big deal nor do I understand why it is not understood. Coaches can watch players during summer ball. A lot of offers come during summer ball. A lot of visits get scheduled during summer ball. What exactly do you want them to cover after media day? What is going on between media day and fall ball? Matt is at Media Day. That is the only UK football thing going on right now. You want an article on a recruit visiting? Boaz Joseph visits tomorrow and Chris had an article on him earlier this week. I just do not understand where all this football info that everyone is craving is going to come from. Recruiting articles are always there, but you can not completely ignore UK basketball. Summer ball allows media to talk with recruits that otherwise are impossible to track down. AND you can target more in a shorter period of time.
Gahhhhh.

First off, the complaint that started this thread is not necessary. We understand you prefer football, that's fine. But these guys are doing the best they can, and they need to cover all of the major sports at the University of Kentucky, and they can't placate to every individual like or dislike.
Plus, the cost of this site is voluntary. To click the link to this site is voluntary. Stop voluntarily going someplace if you don't want to pay for it, and you don't want to view the content it provides.
It is as simple as that.
