Alexander twins

  • @RowlandRIVALS: Mackenro Alexander officially visited #Kentucky this weekend but he was not joined by his brother Mackensie, per sources...

    Zac_limanni

  • Should this be cause for concern?

    stevendoubleu

  • Considering it was only an outside chance anyway, I would venture we can forget him.

    TacosMcGee

  • Not really good, but not necessarily bad. If (big IF) I remember correctly, MacKensie seemed to be the one more sold on us the first visit last summer. MacKinroe was the one that has verballed to FSU, so this may just be a feeler trip for him without his brother so he's not in his brother's shadow. He's the one that needs to be comfortable with flipping. For all we know MacKensie may well be ready to jump on board (please, please), just making sure MacKinroe is as well. Or I can at least dream as much til proven otherwise.

Besides, with the way their recruitment has went, this just may be another planned wrinkle on there end.

    CatfaninIndiana

  • Could be a million different reasons why he didnt visit. Maybe UK wanted it that way? We don't know.

And if we can only land Mackenro, well if thats a consolation prize I'll take it in a heart beat.

You are right Mackenro had previously came out and said we didn't have enough playmakers on our defense for him to come play for us.. So while it's odd that they both didnt come.. It is a good sign in getting Mackenro on campus.. Considering his previous stance on us... But personally it makes me think that they might not be a package deal after all

    Zac_limanni

  • Maybe not so much a package deal..

    stevendoubleu

  • MacKensie has always said (part of ploy maybe) that they Not necessarily a pkg deal. I'll take either one, but MacKensie would obviously be the defensive linchpin of this class. I do think if they do end up playing together (unless at FSU), MacKenro is the one already committed, so he's the one that needs to be convinced to flip, moreso than MacKensie.

    CatfaninIndiana

  • Am I the only one that sees this as more of a good thing then a bad thing? Like mentioned earlier I believe stoops wanted to get Mackenro on a visit by himself to give him more of the spot light and try and get him on board. This also could mean the possibility of Mackensie taking official here whenever Senat decides to come. ( if he does) Total speculation on my part but I see this as more of a good thing in the end.

  • Agree.... I don't know how all of a sudden, the stud twin not showing up is suddenly great news. LOL. Gotta move on last samples and the Alexander's is what I read from the weekend mixed with some awesome news that a few if the other kids are leaning our way.

    TacosMcGee

  • Lets just see how it plays out. Timmons is a big playmaker as well.

MacKenro is not committed to FSU. On the FSU front, we don't expect to land either guy at this point. Apparently FSU was trying to keep the MacKenro commitment on the DL but the local paper broke the story anyways. Put FSU in a tough spot and wouldn't take one commitment without the other.

Hopefully they end up at UK. Along with Woulard (best QB in FL this year).

Thanks for the correction on that. I was thinking I saw back in the fall that he had tried to commit or had committed. Does make sense that FSU would try to keep the DL til MacKensie made his choice.

Thanks for the input and well wishes. Much appreciated.

Appreciate it man, would love to see it happen but not getting my hopes up outside of Woulard.

I've actually posted on here several times before. Just not recently. I usually get some smug "F$U" response from Cobb or someone with that in their name.

I'd just rather see UK get these kids that aren't going to the Big 2+1 schools in Florida and I pretty much dislike every other program in the SEC. For that matter, I don't much like any of the teams in the ACC, either. Also, I have a family member that went to UK and I'd like to see Stoops do well.

THat would no doubt be CobbyCobb..well..you should know me from my thank you posts on Noles247..tricknole. You Noles fans are the most gracious bunch I have had the pleasure to meet. You guys are welcome here ANYTIME. BTW..trick..heads up on Randy Sanders..guy is a great QB coach...but DO NOT EVER allow him to call plays!! Wish you guys the best..I think you are set up for a big run in 2013. Bama wont be AS tough as usual..that killer Oline is breaking up a bit..couple early entries.

  • Wouldn't be surprised at all if Mackenro coming alone was a test...

  • MacKensie knows how much every school in America wants him. How much love will the school show his brother if he isn't there? Does it change? Mackenro wants to be wanted too.
