My google-fu did turn this up:

Questions have raised questions. That is pretty slim on facts and worth a good laugh.
...and my google-fu also turned up this from Nation of Blue:
"Bell had academic issues his sophomore year that limited his playing time, but he improved over his junior year and claims grades are no longer an issue."
I don't see any problems here.
