At the beginning of the Season, I said no matter what the record is, there is no way you get rid of The Staff.. Man was I wrong!
I can live with the win/loss record being what it is because of the talented youth we have. My issue now is coaching decisions, schemes, and a lack of actual coaching.
When former players vent, it's never good, and then Cobb and Locke both vent.. Wow
Joker has all but replaced Brooks entire staff, Randy and Chuck are all that's left, supposedly with these so called recruiters. Recruiting does look better, but with the exception of the o-line I think coaching has taken a downturn.
Decision making is terrible and for me it started when Joker was a OC, pulling Cobb out at SC and I remember him doing it in a couple other games. 4th and 6 at UT on the 42 and we punt late in the 4th down 10. Play calling, redshirting, need I say more.
The Schemes on both sides of the ball are aweful. Maybe it's youth, but we call a game not to lose instead of coaching to win.
