Another new twist on the "Platinum" uniforms...

Matt snapped this shot of Ryan Harrow modeling the alt uniform today at practice... Interesting to see the name at the bottom of the number like some of those old-school unis in the 70s.

I usually love me some new uni's, however, these say K-Mart to me. Wear them once and put them with the denim ones... :-)

I think its great to wear these once or twice, but not more than that. atleast we are using them against a decent opponent in UT. They are gonna come ready to play tuesday night.
I dont mind the name on the bottom of the jerseys. I kinda like it.

You've heard me say this before. Our fans' obsession with uniforms is bizarre..... Why do you guys care so much?
The uniforms look fine to me. Nothing special, nothing good or bad...

I've never really cared about uniforms, but I HATE these. Nothing about it says Kentucky.

No, but the obsession and the analysis just seems bizarre to me. Similar to the discussion of black uniforms over the years. Just not that big of a deal to me. I'm not bashing. Just saying I don't get the obsession. this is at least the 10th thread in the last week about them.

Agreed. Either way, they're just gonna be worn 1 time. So, 95% of our fans, will bitch/moan for a few days and hopefully shut the hell up.

If anybody saw UConn play Notre Dame yesterday, UConn was wearing their version of the platinum uniforms. It's not really my taste but I think it'll be cool for very moderate use.
