DELAND -- Jojo Kemp officially became part of the Kentucky Wildcats' football family Wednesday when he signed a national letter of intent with the Southeastern Conference school.
The 5-foot-10, 210-pound running back followed through on his verbal commitment that he had announced Friday night.
Kemp is the fourth DeLand Bulldog rushing leader to sign with a BCS school in five years. The string began with Mike Gillislee at Florida in 2009, continued with Shontrelle Johnson going to Iowa State in 2010 and De'Ante “Pop” Saunders, a recent transfer to Tennessee State, going to Florida in 2011.
