What does this mean for UK in toyr opinion, Jeff?

Without knowing if UK has talked to him recently or visited, not sure. We're working on an interview with Archie tonight. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Josh Pastner visited with Goodwin today apparently. Maybe something in that visit made him change his mind?

Don't think Pastner is really being considered.

I find it interesting both Ellis and Goodwin both move up their timetables out of the blue as soon as Cal returns to the states and turns attention fully to recruiting, They could end up at KU and Arkansas respectively, but I still find it intereseting. Maybe we'll learn more after Cal visits Archie tomorrow.

Another possability is he heard something about Shabazz Muhammad that made him want to change his plans OR move up his decision. Oh well, we'll hear something soon enough.

Someone's gonna jump sooner than later (by Nov. 3) to make sure they get a seat on the Big Blue Bus, If Goodwin were to head to the Hawgs, I'd say we'll turn up the heat on Gary Harris and/or Torian Graham.

I can't imagine him picking Arky over the Cats. If he does then he would have to play us and that could get embarrassing. If he wants to play in the SEC and UK is offering???? No brainer!

He could have had some good conversations with Cal by cell phone today.

He's from Arkansas. There's a lot of peer pressure to stay home and help that struggling program.

Archie reversed course late tonight. Now tweets that he's back to his original plan to wait things out.

He could still sell Archie on being a 2G as well...there's really no such thing in Cal's offense. you pretty much have a Lead guard, a Post, & 3 Wings. You could argue one of those wings plays closer to the basket around the baselines, but the other two are absolutely interchangeable! All 3 wings still need to be able to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim.

The only real difference is who they guard on defense.
