Let me ask an obvious question nad it is: Why add this guy at this point? The only reason I can think of is Calipari wants someone who is very tough to go against the regulars in practice to show them how its done. Thats all I can think of if this rumor pans out.

I don't know how far back you remember UK basketball but if UK was struggling early in the season RUPP would add football players to the roster for the UKIT. It was always " who is that," in the crowd every year.
Here's is some stuff off his bio: "The first thing about Josh is that he is such a good person - well-mannered, coachable, a quiet leader," Wyatt said. "He's such an athlete and a very physical player, the sky's the limit for him." ... Honorable-mention all-state in basketball as a junior and senior, leading Tilghman to the First Region championship and a berth in the Sweet 16 state tournament during his junior year ... Participated in track in the 400-meter dash and a pair of relays.

I will repeat. I have watched Forrest play a bunch of basketball, he is a great athlete who is very physical, but he is a 6'3 post player. He has very limited range. I would be shocked if he plays any meaningful minutes. He is a great kid, but he is a football player. I'd say he is on the team to be physical with this bunch.

Are we getting a new basketball player soon?
