Hate to see a man who has served UK both as a player and coach go down like this but, under the circumstances there is nothing else that could be done. Hopefully the next coach will be able to right this sunken ship

Right Move but I too have a heavy heart. As a fan of UK football, I really hoped Joker would be successful. IMO, we as fans should honor his service to the University by attending the Samford game. Although he wasn't the right fit at the helm of UK football, he is the right fit for us Kentuckyians

I am happy for our program but my heart is saddened at the same time for Joker. I always wanted Joker to succeed, he has given so much to HIS University. Unfortunately, over the last year it has become evident that he just isnt' ready to be a head coach at a BCS program. Good Luck to Joker going forward.

Now the ball is in Mitch's court - make a GREAT hire and give him all the $$$ he needs to build a new program and renovate facilities. We cannot keep hog tying our Football coaches and expect them to make it work.

Well maybe they have sombody for the job. Would love to give somone a head start. Although I dont know how often that happens? Of course there is a couple names that have been mentioned that are not coaching.
