    I think Goodwin will be fine. Great work ethic and attitude IMO. Cares about winning.

    Plus his game is tailored more to the NBA. The court is wider, spacing better, defensive 3 seconds. Better officiating so he won't get all those bad charges called on him.

    Might take a year or two before he's getting big minutes but I don't think he's hurting himself by coming out this season.

    I kind of go with Charles when he says my shooting guard has got to be able to shoot. Archie has the athleticism but his outside game is SUSPECT at best. Barkley is spot on for once, none of these guys are ready and they won't develop adequately riding the pine or playing in the d league. And that is where Archie is heading make no mistake about it.

  • I think Archie has shown the ability to at least be a decent shooter one day in the league. Its not rare at all for 5 star big time athletic wings to be poor shooters coming out of high school but develop into decent shooters later on down the road.

  • If Archie is going to find a permanent place in the league it will have to be with defense. Guys with suspect parts of their offensive game don't often stick around long if they can't play great defense.
