As individuals they all have good talent and can play ball but as a"TEAM" they arent really very good at all. They simply havent come together like the 2010 team did and Im doubtful if they ever will. I hope they prove me wrong but I think its a long shot at this point in time. These are strong willed individuals that have resisted how to play as a team and that is the 1 thing the previous 3 teams of Cal has had and won with. I think it is a real possibility that UK doesnt make the tourney if they dont beat Fla. and Miss and Missouri. The selection committee wont put KY in the tourney based on previous years success and this year so far there isnt any wins that would give them a reason to include KY in the tourney.

Calling this group a team is using the concept of team very losely.This is more of a collection of players more interesting in their own stats and working their way toward an NBA contract than playing team basketball.
These guys are more likely to be one and none than one and done,with either transferring or riding the bench next year.

Beg to differ as to who'll be back-most NBA mocks still have Goodwin and WCS as lottery picks-besides, who exactly is Goodwin going to beat out for a spot next year?? Either Harrison is a better player than Archie-even as we speak...

Nate, you are right these players dont suck. Each and evryone has a good level of talent but they cant seem to learn what Cal has been trying to teach them about playing as a team not like a playground pickup game of good players. These guys may get along off the court but they sure dont get along as a team on the court. Archie is the perfect example of what Im talking about, when he gets the ball he charges the basket with his only goal being to put up a shot and not thinking of how he could maybe give a fellow teammate a pass so they can score. I have no problem with Archie being agressive but to be of single purpose when he has the ball is selfish which has been pointed out by more than a couple of other posters.

I don't think so. This is a weak draft. Look at last year's draft and think about where Noel and Shabazz would go if they were in it after their play this year, not as they would have been seen as high school seniors. If Noel and Shabazz were in that situation, in last year's draft, I think they would have been in the 12-15 range. If they went in right out of high school they probably would have been higher, as deficiencies in their game have been highlighted.

Agree to disagree I guess. Noel would have most definitely gone in the top 5 IMO and like I said I think he would have gone ahead of Beal. He's a big man that can block shots with the best of him. Not many guards are going to be taken over him in any draft. Beal isn't really all that special either. He's good not great. Shabazz absolutely goes ahead of Austin Rivers so that puts him in the top 10 without question but I think he might have even gone higher than that.

How has he played this year? He has Noah's heart, energy, and athleticism (if not more), blocks better (more often and the ball stays in play), steals a lot more(meaning he is quicker and just as long), and rebounds well (now). BTW, Noah is considered as one of the better centers in the NBA.
