Just watched him on Tim Brando's show. Said the Tigers are loaded next year with a couple of good xfers who just sat out.

I'm by no means conceding the title to them, but it sure sounds like they're going to be a factor.

That may be true, but I don't see how this (or any other) battle for Oriakhi will determine or effect the 2013 SEC Title... in any way, shape or form.

Mizzou will be very solid. Arguably their best player got hurt and missed the entire season in Laurence Bowers, a 6-8 senior. Also, they will have one of the best PG in the country next season in Phil Pressey, and another returning starting guard is back. They will be bringing in a couple juco big men as well that will likely factor in.

As far as the good transfers, they are very good. Earnest Ross, who started at Auburn and scored 13 and grabbed 6 rebounds a game. In addition to, Keion Bell, who scored 19 a game at Pepperdine. They also have another one from Oregon, Jabari Brown, he will come in the second semester I'm pretty sure, but he was a 5* recruit. They will definitely be a factor in the SEC, add Oriakhi, I could see how people might like them as the favorites.

but make no mistakes Mizz will not be a top 10 team next yr.

Chris I agree about the possibility for Oriakhi maybe not wanting to compete again for playing time. In the end with most of the kids, (I can understand why) it comes down to playing time. Championships are secondary to them. What Cal did this year with this team is amazing when you think how he used basically 6..maybe seven players and each got enough shots and each was content to play for the team. Having said that I really wish Oriakhi would come. He would be such a mature, physical force in the middle and I think he would start at 5 and most likely Noel would start at 4. They would each make the other so much better. I can then see Wilther getting huge minutes for each either to rest or foul trouble. Poythress at the three, Goodwin at two guard and Harrow at the point. I was so scared this year that we were one injury away from disaster. If we could possible add both Bennett and Oriakhi we could go a solid 8 deep with the starters above along with Bennett, Wiltjer, and Hood (whom I believe will give us better minutes than some think). I don't guess it hurts to dream a little.

Or maybe he's just ticked that Randolph Morris, Jr got more playing time when he looked out of shape and lackadaisical about most games I saw him play.

I'll gladly conceed the SEC championship to Mizz if it means #9!

Oriaki is the missing link for us imo though.

IMHO it's six of one and half dozen of another. We need Oriaki's experience and defense but we also need Bennet's scoring. This year we had 7 scorers and 6 defenders.
