Pretty shocking news. As someone who worked for the Courier-Journal (at least part time), this move intrigues me.
Here are some of Eric Crawford's comments on the move.
FAQ: My own, personal realignment story It would appear tonight that I am a blogger without a blog. Or at least Im not sure whose blog to post to. Still, I have received questions, and I would like...
Very intriguing. I'm sure all the guys in the newspaper biz are thinking about moves like this. You have to. Newspapers mocked the internet 10 years ago, now everyone's looking for their spot to fit in.

Crawford is a half way smart guy. BOZO on the other hand is a little different story.
Well they better hope they get back on cable soon.
OK Guys. Help me out here please.
Is WDRB moving over to Comcast? They did not resign with Insight and have been dropped of their programing. A lot of people in Lousville thought they were done... You don't recruit people like Rick and Eric if you are done?
WDRB and Time-Warner (new owner of Insight) still hashing out specifics of agreement to carry WDRB. Payment per subscriber rate as I understand. From what I hear, it's typical for new ownership. Would be shocked if it's not settled soon.
I heard they had to leave because Pitino needed their scholarships.

Makes me wonder just how bad things have gotten at the C-J. Probably a blessing that I never caught on full time there. Would have already been cut loose.
As a guy that graduated with a journalism degree, it's kind of sad to see but at the same time, you have to recognize that things change.
