There are all kinds of rumors going around including one that they may have used that design that was put on the b-ball uni's (last year?) with the checkerboard design that's hard to see around the shoulders. So to be honest I have no idea if anything that is going around is true, most likely we are all going to have to wait until the unveiling to find out for sure.

But it sure is fun to speculate.

Did they give a time for when they will unveil them?

I REALLY like those, I especially like that it looks like they have changed the helmet to more of a solid blue that isn't so shiny. I never understood why they used such shiny helmets that looked a different color than the jersey and pants.

I am a sad case...I like that helmet so much I bought one and put it in my office at work!

I've never really seen the power K helmet like that up close, but now I really like it. I would like to see NIKE put that on one of the new style helmets.

Whatever the outcome, barring something ridiculous, I think this is going to have a positive outcome for UK.

This is something the fans have been wanting for years and I think something that strikes a chord with recruits. And not that I've had a problem per se with the current unis either. I think the all blues have a great look to them and I've seen multiple recruits compliment them over the years.

But it couldn't hurt to mix in some new options here and there. Can't wait to see them Thursday.

I agree, Chris. New uniforms is always a good way to rejuvenate a fanbase and the team. This is the case at most any level of any sport, except for when you have a team who has sported the same look for decades and then suddenly changes.

For example, you could never change the Yankees, Red Sox, Browns, Raiders, Steelers, Celtics, Bulls, Lakers, Bama, PSU, ND, USC, Michigan, etc. The fans would revolt. However, if you're most any other team than one of those big historic programs or franchises, it is almost always a positive when there is a uniform change. Of course, there will be some people who won't be satisfied and the fans will no doubt argue over whether they looked better before or after, but for the players and recruits, it is a great thing, IMHO.

Personally, I can't wait to see them tomorrow. I hope its something more than just a subtle change and that they actually do USE the ability to create numerous combinations (up to 27 options has been rumored) instead of it just being an option, but them using the same 2 combinations over and over again with maybe just 1 alternate used at some point.

Maxwell Smith tweeted that the fans were going to love them, I guess that means the players love them at least.

No idea but I'm hoping there is some coverage of it.
