I hope you are not suggesting that he is teaching good coverage skills and technique. Our DL and LBs are doing okay. The DBs have no clue what to do in pass coverage.

The secondary is pretty bad. The corners are terrible. They rarely turn to play the ball. Alshon ran free all day.

Well he was pretty good winning a super bowl as a secondary coach. But I guess we should expect the same out of the likes of M. Benton and Mosely.

Uhm, that's in the NFL, not the SEC. Of course he helped out with a Super Bowl victory. IT'S THE NFL. The secondary players are the best of the best there.

This^. It's hard to sculpt the David out of a pile of dog crap. UKs experienced secondary talent (outside of Guy) is atrocious. Mosely and Neloms shouldn't be playing in the SEC. I don't think Benton is exactly SEC material either. Burden is a back up for most SEC teams.
Blame him for the lack of talent, but I don't know how you coach up this bunch. It's the same thing with the QB's, WR's and TE's.

We saw what kind the coaching fraternity thinks of Brown. When Joker made him co-dc before the bowl game, he was essentially giving Brown time to find another job.
And he's still here. That speaks volumes.
