Assuming he does make it in January, at what position is he projected? IIRC he was listed as an athlete but looked to have the measurements of a CB or WR.

Pretty sure he's always been slated as a WR.

Kid was a killer on special teams in high school, had something like 6 punt returns for TDs as a senior which either tied or broke the state record.

Hell, I'd settle for ANYWHERE with a ball in his hand on offense or special teams. (Obviously not QB, though.)

Which as much as I love the kid, it DOES take the shine off the 6 returns in a season a bit...obviously 4 must have been against an overmatched or poorly executing team.
Nonetheless, he seems to be the dynamic gamebreaker-type player the program lacked following Cobb's departure. There was no one on the roster last year that you knew could go the distance on any given play. Especially in college football, while you hope to average 4-5 yards per play overall, that is balanced by the 20+ yarders that we just never seemed to get last year.
The talk leads one to think there is at least potential for that player this year, and Tandy to make his mark next season. All around great news here!!

Bubba was a sign and place kid all along. The coaches knew there would be issues. Had he been able to make the grades early in his high school career and not fallen so far behind he likely would have had every program in the sec on him. He was that good in high school. he played on the same team with Hickey, the PG for lsu. They were literally the only two skill guys worth a lick on that Christian county team and they led them to the state title game. Of Course Towels from Highlands beat them up pretty good...

That was the Ohio County game right?
Think there was a game in state (I'm thinking against BG) where Christian only had 2 TDs and both were Tandy returns.

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that Tandy was playing Safety at JUCO, not sure what position Uk likes him at though.
