With NCAA Tournament bubble teams losing all around the country and facing a likely win and you're in scenario Kentucky was routed in a 64-48 loss to Vanderbilt.
After that horrible showing, I still think we sneak in as a 12 seed IF, Mizzou or Fla win the SEC tourney and no more bubble or non qualifying teams win their respective tourneys. Any of those things happen I think we get passed. Not that it is really going to matter in the grand scheme of things.
If we get in I'd just leave some regular guys on the bench and play Sam Malone, Todd Lanter, and Brian Long. They would at least play for the name on the FRONT of the jersey and, win or lose, I would be proud of that team.
Nah, no way we're in after that performance. Maybe if the game goes down to the wire and we lose on some tough breaks and Vandy playing great. But we looked awful and got blown out of the gym. We're out.
It is hard to like this team because they don't have much school pride and show very little effort in most games. They must be thinking the UK on jersey means they are playing in England.lol..So disappointed with these kids..

I agree they are bad but what truely makes them the most unlikable team for me is after as poorly as they've played and as lazy as they've been, they are still going to take the exposure that UK has offered and turn it into millions for for laying an egg this season.
My question is this. Does this blow up Cals philosophy to all incoming freshman? Before he could just say, "You come here and play as a team and we win then we all win and you have a great season and go pro!"
Now it's kind of like "Shit we can go there, be big men on campus for a year. Play AAU type ball, play like garbage and we still get drafted in the lottery!"

While I may agree that UK is probably not a tourney team I will NEVER call them unlikable or won't watch. Gotta be with them through thick and thin. These kids aren't unlikable by any means. UK has had players in the past who weren't likable but it had nothing to do with what they were doing on the court and I measure who I like by more than stat sheets, wins/losses etc. By all indications, these guys are pretty good and decent kids who just had a bad season by UK standards. They've done nothing to merit me saying I don't like them.
