Bubble teams that lost yesterday in conference tournaments:
Colorado State (25-8)
Illinois (22-12)
Iowa State (22-11)
Kentucky (21-11)
La Salle (21-9)
San Diego State (22-10)
Temple (23-9)
Tennessee (20-12)
Virginia (21-11)
There's already been one 'bid-stealer' win their conference tournament ... Western Kentucky in the Sun Belt. With many people considering Middle Tennessee a potential at-large team, Western's upset tournament championship could mean that the Sun Belt may get two bids to the NCAA ... 'stealing' a bid from the other Bubble teams.
Conference tournaments where we need to watch for potential bid-stealers:
** Atlantic 10 **
Bid-stealers remaining > UMass
** ACC **
Bubble teams remaining > Maryland
** Conference USA **
Bubble teams remaining > Southern Miss
** Mid American **
Bubble teams remaining > Akron
Bid-stealers remaining > Ohio
** SEC **
Bubble teams remaining > Alabama, Ole Miss
Bid-stealers remaining > Vanderbilt
** WAC **
Bid-stealers remaining > New Mexico State, Texas-Arlington

Kentucky dodges a potential bullet in its fight for an at-large bid to the NCAA as Memphis holds off Southern Miss in double-overtime for the Conference USA championship and automatic bid. Had Southern Miss won, both teams would have been in and that would have meant one less bid for bubble teams.

Virginia
La Salle
Middle Tenn.
Maryland
Boise St
Southern miss
Massachusetts
Alabamawho are the other 2?
in reality it doesn't matter because IMO we are not 1 of the 6 teams that will be getting that at large bid
Hell, we beat 3 of those teams lol. What do u mean we aren't being considered

Agreed. I think ole miss is gonna win, but not Maryland. So we will get one break there
Vandy is shooting horribly now.. it hurts to watch them play this bad against Ole miss after making everything against us
but ok I agree that Maryland will lose against UNC
Ole miss wins which makes them in
that leaves 5 remaning spots for 11 teams

Sure looks to me like it will come down to UK, Tennessee and Alabama and how the committee evaluates those three exceedingly similar teams.
Gosh, I hope they just base it on SEC record (including quality wins within the Conference/ Conference SOS), because we had the 2 spot. Bama played the weakest SEC schedule, and UT simply lost a lot more games. We split with UT, so that is a null. Bama beat us at Bama (a game we led), which hurts. If that is the case, I think they will select UK. I just hope we even get that far in the process to have it come down to that..... I agree though, they are not planning on taking 5 from the SEC, so if they get 4, you are spot on..
