Butler and UNC

  • Not that it's that important but Butler is putting a whuppin' on UNC at half time. It is actually a really good game if you just want to watch some BBall. I don't know why but I continue to underestimate Butler every year. On a side note however, Brad Stevens was actually the coach I wanted had we not gotten Cal. One heck of a coach.

    Brad Stevens is a better coach than people give him credit for and I hope Butler will hang on and continue to beat UNC by as much as possible. Then I want to see Indiana get their butts spanked by G-Town even by 1 point.

    never said he was a bad coach.

    Just wondering why OP said he wanted brad stevens if we couldn't get cal.

    At that point when we got cal, brad stevens best is 2nd round in NCAA tourney. Hard to believe that someone thought that would have been a great hire.

    EDIT: btw, he is amazing coach. Just hard to see that with his performance @ Butler when Coach Cal was hired.

    UNC is on a rapid comeback.

    77-71 with less than a minute to go.

    in 40 seconds, they manage to reduce the lead by 6 points.

    Can you believe this comeback by UNC, you have to give them credit they didnt give up but Butler looks to hang on.

  • UNC is a lot like UK in that they're a very young team. They'll get a lot better as the season goes on but still a bit shocking what Butler was able to do to them.

    Brad Stevens is one of the best coaches in the game no question.
