I'm sorry, nothing personal against Towles or any other kid thinking about transferring but what happen to the days when people actually wanted to earn what they got. To many kids think things should be giving to them. Hell, even Aaron Murray redshirted when he was clearly more talented against the qb UGA had playing when we beated them the last time. Kids now and days need to get off thinking things should be handed to them, earn it and the reward is much greater. If any of them have any dreams playing in NFL, get off that habit now and just earn it.

Joker is the one who is short-sighted. God knows how many of the pre-season reps were given to that 'fail' Newton that should have went to Towles and Whitlow. There is also no way to know if Whitlow is better than Towles. The only people to see them were the coaches and this is the same staff that declared last year about the new and greatly improved Morgan Newton. The QB position needs to have depth too, this year, not next. That is why I agree with Jawjacker. We are not in a position to be redshirting QB's, especially of Towles's caliber. Putting all your eggs(Max Smith) in one basket is short-sighted.
