CJ: Davis plans to make Olympic team

“He’s such an intriguing player even at this point,” Colangelo said. “We can’t make a judgment based on where he is today. We have to look at the future and say where would be he two weeks from now if we really made that kind of decision.
“Maybe we will, maybe we won’t that’s what we’re going to deliberate.”

Blake Griffin is a lock now, I guess. He is overrated. Tyson Chandler is their only true center. I think Ant makes it still. He can run the floor and is a difference maker on defense. Two spots left on the roster.

I hate that for Davis, but it may be the best way to play the international style. I still think Davis would have done a great job on the high pick and pop. Not buying the excuse that it was too physical for him.

Blake Griffin? Really? He's the most overrated player in the NBA. Plus he's soft and flops all the time. Not to mention the whining. The only good thing about him is u can intimidate opposing teams in warm ups with his dunks. Needless to say I'm not a fan of this selection.

I thought Griffin would make it all along. Thats no surprise to me. Igoudala is the most questionable selection in my mind. I also don't know what happened to D Wade. But I'm glad to see Harden make it anyway.

I'm with you. I don't get it. I guess they figure one big will be enough. I don't get it. Even if it wasn't Davis pick at least 2 5's.

Not a fan at all of Griffin. Also very overrated IMO. Not much more than a dunker at this point in his career. You have enough athleticism on Team USA already.
The reason Team USA isn't carrying more bigs is because of the difference in international play. Tend to pull the bigs away from the basket and have to be able to defend the pick and roll (which I think Davis would be good for). Dwight Howard would have been on the team but is injured.

D Wade if I remember right is having surgery on his knee I think?? That's the only reason he's not on this team

agree. I fhe gets into foul trouble, then we're toast against teams with established bigs, like Spain right off the top of my head, who have the Gasol's
