CWS - Keeneland - Shuttle Service - Spring Game

  • I have been advised that UK has been in discussion with Keeneland and it looks like your wish will come true!

Shuttle service from CWS to Keeneland -n- back. Preliminary plan is for 3 - 4 designated loading/pick-up spots at CWS.

All final details/information will be forthcoming from UK....

Early indication is upwards of 40k will not be a surprise.....

This will be an Event you won't want to miss. Have extra tickets? Invite family, friends, neighbors, a youth football player or two, etc., now! Don't wait to give away any extras. Invite people and make plans now.

    Pinch yourself........

  • Do any of you feel that there's some synergy between Bluegrass Stakes Day and the Spring Game that has the potential to increase turnout instead of having to choose or just being able to do only on? A pleasant Central Kentucky Spring Day, Dogwoods getting close to full bloom.....and a re-energized, fresh, wipe-the-slate-clean Kentucky football team that will play an exciting style of offense and a get-after-you defense.

Do you agree that's there the potential for an almost unbelievable turnout that could exceed 40k?

I'm thinking we are in for one helluva fun-filled day with an exciting buzz in the air. Bloody Marys - check; Food - check; Afternoon at Keeneland - check; More food - check; bourbon/beer -check; brand new style football with energized players and entirely new coaching team- check!

Sound The Sirens Y'all...........2013 Kentucky Spring Game!!

  • Anybody else going to take advantage of transportation being available between CWS and Keeneland, or will it just be me and the 7 guys I've invited to join me for a fun-filled day?

I was also advised that the RV Lot will open on Friday morning, on a first come, first serve basis, with the Ag RV Lot being opened up if/when the Main RV Lot fills-up, and then a 3rd RV Lot ready should the Ag RV Lot fill-up.

Will be treated like a game, i.e., although parking on a first come basis, there will be personnel working to manage traffic flow, parking, etc.

  • This would be awesome. Just yesterday, my dad and I were just trying to plan everything out between Keeneland and the Spring Game...this would help, A LOT! Wish I had an RV, lol
