Eh, maybe my eyes are blind, but I really don't see them as number one. As for odds? Yeah, I'm not that smart when it comes to that. Just struck me as odd that people think they'll be that good. JMO.

Totally agree on Indiana. I'm not buying Louisville. They're still the same team that lost double digit games last year and beat an overrated Michigan St in the tournament. If Gordon didn't get hurt in the first half new Mexico would've beat them in the 2nd round.

I think Indiana should be preseason No. 1 next year, followed by Louisville and UK. Also think Missouri could sneak up on some people next season.
Indiana returns virtually everyone, adds Yogi Ferrell who gives them another dimension and Cody Zeller will be one of the best players in college basketball.
As far as UK, they may get off to somewhat (relatively speaking) of a rocky start but by the time the tourney rolls around, they're going to have as much if not more talent than anyone and they'll be a team I would absolutely not want to see in the NCAAs.

My only thought is this. IU struggled pretty bad on the road last season without the pressure of being number one and having a target on their back. How will they do when they can no longer use the "under dog" roll they played up all last season. It is a lot tougher to play great when the pressure is on.
