I dont' see it quite so stacked. Lacey could be on his way to the NBA in 2 years if he starts off with the right frame of mind. Even if Knight comes back, there is still room for him on this roster. Look at Lamb...he still has to prove himself to leave after 2 years.
There is nothing wrong with going up against BK, DL, and Teague every day in practice. Ask Josh how he improved because of 'practice'.
If Lacey truly wants to be a Cat, he should go ahead and commit. Cal will find a slot for him. And if Lacey wants to play early, its about getting after it defensively with the minutes you are given.
It would be a huge get for Cal to convince Lacey to come to Lexington. The makings of a power team.
