on you! Talk about an a team not ready to play? Well we seen one today. Yes Cal we fans do matter and know basketball. Hell some of us even played college basketball! You had twice the talent and were out coached today and it was embarassing to all UK fans! Don't ever say the fans don't matter again!

You gotta be kidding me. This is where I get frustrated w/UK fans. We play a TOUGH game, on the road, early in the season w/a young team and lose by one and all of a sudden it's all on Cal. Get real. Yeah, I was mad w/how they played like ish for large portons of the game but maybe you didn't notice that we came back from 10 down in a VERY HOSTILE environment and lost by 1 at the buzzer. It happens and fortunately for UK, it doesn't happen very often.
The Cats will learn from this one and be better in the long run. No moral victories but a statement of fact. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the other team and congratulate them for making the play in the end to win it. Sure, there is A LOT not to like about today but there are certainly A LOT of positives to take away as well. The Cats will be fine.

I'm sure Cal always does some self evalutation and granted, he'd probably do some things differently. But I'm really hard pressed to remember any boneheaded coaching moves other than leaving TJ in for much longer than he deserved to be today.
I concur that when you make 4 Million a year you're going to get some extra scrutiny. But what I saw today was an exciting game early in the season that in the end, you just say congrats to the other team, learn your lessons and move on. If I was going to ding on a person today it wouldn't be Cal, Cough, Cough, Terrence Jones, Cough, Cough!!!!!!!!!

Excuse me? Shut Up! Who do you think you are? Don't tell me to shut up! I've played college basketball and know what I'm talking about! Have you big guy. Or are you one of the arm chair coaches on here that call for coaches heads for no reason. Cal was out coached and his team wasn't prepared for today! Plain and simple! It was embarrsassing! He has to be held accountable just like every other coach.
And yes Cal did say the fans didn't matter on his weekly "I'm the coach and you are stupid" show this week on the radio! You guys need to take a step back and see what is happening.

Discount Double Check!!! LOL!!
Doesn't really matter if you "played college basketball", that was a bad post. People tend to disagree with stuff that is inaccurate.
You need to learn the difference in what is essentially a recruiting pitch, and when someone actually thinks the fans don't matter. If he really felt that fans don't matter, why visit dying UK fans in the hospital? Why travel all around the state in the offseason? Why come out and hang with them before Modnight Madness? Why generally go out of his way to be kind to every fan that approaches him? Think before you post, buddy.
