The hype will be unavoidable, the outside noise deafening. This is Kentucky and Louisville meeting in the Final Four after all. John Calipari wants his team to ignore it all.
I really, really like Cals approach to this game. It's been his approach the whole year, particularly going into big games. Don't get caught in the hype and play your game. That's probably one reason such a young team played so consistently throughout the year. They didn't get caught up in the emotional rollercoaster of big game high's followed by flat performances against lesser teams. Very mature and business like approach. As much as everybody is boohooing over being afraid to give slick Rick a week to prepare, I'm just as confident in our guy being able to do the same thing. If the Cats continue to take the approach they have the entire year, they will be fine next weekend!
