I mean seriously, when you could have Billy Dee Williams on your team you pretty much have to pull the trigger, right? I'm starting to question the man's ability to evaluate talent.

I'm assuming it's because the recruit would invite Cal over for a friendly dinner and then sitting at the table would be Darth Krykrewski who would say, "we would be glad to have you join us for dinner". Bullets would fly into Darth Krykrewski's outstretched hand, to no avail. He would then incarcerate Calipari and promptly turn him into into carbonite and sell him to Bobby Knight.
