We raked over Maryland a few years ago for 2 D line commits....Brice Laughlin & Nermin Delic. Of course, given the typical UK football luck we never got anything from either and they are long gone.

The article said that he has heard alot lately from our staff, who knows what is being said? I would take it that they would want to know how interested he is before offering to a kid who has committed already.

Good point..I mean..when a DT with Opara's size, strength, and quicks comes along..and all but says hed rethink his verbal if we offered..has to be a REASON for no offer..academics or character could be it. i dont know personally on this case..I follow more Ga, Tenn, Ky, Ohio , Ind recruits. Need a couple just like him though..with his level of confidence or arrogance..its infectious. Maurice Swain would go a long way to easing my concerns..we need run stoppers..in any form. If we could have stopped Lattimore in the 2nd half of last weeks game..Joker beats Steve Spurrier for the 2nd time..and Uk upsets a top 6 team and could have hope for a bowl..now..its looking bleaker by the quarter.
