That's the whole reason he wants to transfer, plus Calhoun "could" retire, which would give him another reason. (Just my perspective)

Because as I mentioned above, their eligibility wouldn't be up before postseason ban over, therefore they'd have to sit out the 2012-13 season. Those guys won't still be in college ball in 2013-14. I guess MAYBE Daniels would, but the other two aren't going to transfer and sit a year.

I'd favor Oriakhi's muscle and experience if it's a question of having one guy for one year. Noel's upside is certainly higher, though.

Honestly, in a one-year scenario, I may take Oriakhi over Bennett.

The thing is in all of this is that his immediate eligibility isn't a certainty right now. It is dependent, as Matt stated, on UConn being banned from post-season play next year. UConn has appealed that ruling and isn't expected to find out the ruling on that appeal for another 7-10 days, so don't expect Oriakhi to pick a school before then.

Well I would be too but it's the NCAA we're talking about so all bets are off. I'm just saying the kid isn't gonna make a move until it's a certainty he will be eligible next season.

i would be interested in seeing if Uconn would let him come back to the team after leaving them if the ruling is repealed
