There are no excuses for Harrow. He is a Junior who started at NC State as a frosh, and had a year sitting out with a chance to learn Cals system and practice against Teague.Either the reports on his performance in practice were bogus or he regressed this year.
As for physical conditioning and growth, these guys have been on campus since summer school and have been encouraged to live in the gym,and adter numerous practices and games have no reason to not plat at the highest level.
When it is all added up,this group are a huge dissappointment, who never bought into their coaches way of playing the game, and personally, with the exception of WCS,ie would'nt bother me at all to see the rest of the starters move on to the NBA draft or the YMCA.
Wiltjer should spend the summer looking at current videos of Chuck Hayes. Chuck is just as slow and unathletic but makes millions playing in the NBA against the best. Sure he is strong but he is four inches shorter. Wiltjer could study positioning from Chuck. He gets rebounds even though he can't jump! Wiltjer's defense and rebounding could improve to the mediocre level instead of the nonexistent level it is now.
