The more I think about, the more I like Josh McDaniels...
1. Has coached one of the best QBs to have ever played the game
2. Has SB rings
3. Is young
4. Has Ohio ties

I've been preaching the Josh McDaniel or Jay Gruden route. Both are young NFL OC's that eventually want to be NFL coaches. Sell them on becoming the next Jim Harbaugh - build up a program that hasn't had much success and then move to the NFL once you have the opportunity, leaving us in much better shape than we have ever been and allowing us to be a more viable option for other coaches at that point. And all the while, throw about $3 million at them. That should help.

Josh mcdaniels has the personality of a rock. He is no Jim harbaugh.
If you want a good offensive mind go with Greg roman. He's a harbaugh disciple who has taken average players and made them very good.

Hope personality isn't #1 of importance for this hire. Last time I checked.... even Saban wasnt Mr. Congility.

No more Tenn. coaches please...to the person above who said Tee Martin for OC....What in God's name have you been drinking? He couldnt even coach wide receivers..Why do you think he would make a good OC? Gary Patterson or Chris Petersen and get Bud Foster to be the DC...offer him lots of money...I am glad most of you guys on not on the search committee...You all dont think anyone would come here so you will have to settle if that is the case...If you dont make any calls to big names you will have to settle..Call some guys and make them tell you no...That is what I am saying..
