I bet Tee could be a good OC. He's a handful of years older than Texas' co-offensive coordinator Major Applewhite. Applewhite was an OC in the SEC in 2007 at age 29.
Age doesn't matter. Ability does. If the job does open and they think Martin is good enough, he'll get the gig. If they don't think he's ready—based on ability, not age—then they could justifiably look elsewhere.
I do know that none of these players look up to any coach more than they look up to Tee Martin. He gets it.

Tee has proven to be a great recruiter but ice yet to see him make a difference with the WR unit. Maybe it's cause they are that bad, he may spend too much time recruiting and not coaching, or who knows what. I just don't think he merits that kind of promotion right now.

I read alot of people whose opinion I trust on different UK boards and the consensus is Joker is out after next season if they don't have a winning season.
Loking at the schedule I don't see them doing much better. You drop Ole Miss to go Arkansas. 3-9 maybe 4-8.
So, why wait?
People can talk staff changes but who comes for a lameduck coach?
