  • 6 points and 4 rebounds against Georgia. No way he lives up to the expectations heaped upon him. If it was for a barrage of threes it would have been closer. It'll be interesting to see IU against some tougher competition.

  • Really think IU and UL are overrated and over hyped. Love that we played tough neutral games early and gained experience with a loss. I think we'll beat UL honestly

  • I actually agree with you about UL. While they're talented defensively, their offense is about the same as last year. If you can take Siva off his game their offense suffers. Cal knows that.

  • I agree about Louisville, but Indiana was playing short handed tonight, and I would rather see them when they are at full strength before questioning their high ranking.

    Nate, I watched that game and your right Zeller was less than impressive however he did get into foul trouble early but that wasnt the only thing that hampered him, he played against a smaller but much faster/quicker player and lets face it they probably came into the game a little over confident and if Georgia had 1 more player that would have contributed then IU would have lost that game. I also watched the UCLA/Georgetown game and UCLA took it on the chin big time. I dont think however that UL is over rated and Im really concerned when UK plays them, but UK will be better then but I think its still going to be KYs 3rd loss before the SEC schedule starts.

    Problem is we don't have that great defender we've had in years past. Not sure we have that Liggins, MKG kinda guy. Poythress maybe not sure he has the foot speed or motor. Goodwin maybe not sure he has the size and strength. Cal doesn't play zone so thats out of the question. And I'm not sure you really take Siva off his game you just try to make him beat you by taking away the drive and kick or drive and dish. In other words you either play off him and allow him to shoot it from deep or you let him drive and don't help off shooters. You force him to try and finish over your bigs. He simply can't do it. He's great at creating but terrible at finishing.

    Did Bazz play in that UCLA game? I haven't been able to see him yet? I would say he'll struggle a little early. I'm unsure whether he's even been practicing. I would think so though.

    You are absolutely right, about the cheerleaders that is but if UL loses to UK I will get you one of those cheerleaders cell phone #s. I do think KYs beginning of the seasons schedule was much tougher than ULs and maybe that will help with the development of UK but UL has several returning players where KY has 1 and I know the talent at KY is greater but there is something to be said for experience. Siva isnt much of a long range shooter but he is a very good facilitator which is something KY doesnt have yet.

    I don't think U of L is overrated, but Siva is VERY overrated. Siva averaged 3.4 TO's pg last year, that's not very good... at all... He gets way too ahead of himself and hyped up, not to mention his decision making is extremely questionable. To put it in perspective, many people mainly UK fans were on Marquis Teague's back all year about his play, Teague only averaged 2.7 TO as a freshman, Siva is a senior this year... He may get a good amount of assists, but when you watch U of L live, you see the real Peyton Siva as the TO prone PG that he is.
