You guys are all off base on Coach Brooks. He loves the University. He was going to make Lexington his home until he got the feeling he was not longer wanted to be a part of UK football. They should have made him some type of AD on football. Alot of the demise had to do with the change of assistant coaches and I will stop right there, for I will not give out any more info other than some should have not been brought in. Now whether he should be ask about another coach, that is up to Mitch. But I seriously doubt Mitch will make that call. Coach Brooks knew what this program needed was a football facility overhaul to keep up with all the other SEC schools except for Vandy and never got it. Recruits like to play in nice places, stadiums, facilities, ext...... But no way would coach Brooks do anything to harm this university..

Will be interesting the route Mitch and Co take. Best classes ever imo, at least back-to-back combined, as far as talent are currently freshman and sophomores. Need a coach similar to Brooks who will instill discipline on the field and do the little things that win games. Add those two traits with the talent those two classes have and things could turn around quickly.

Schnellenberger would be the first person to call.He knows what is needed and i'm sure is well aware of who could get the job done.
