Just spoke with somebody with direct access to somebody involved in the search.
Tony dungy was option one but declined to discuss other than to offer advice.
After that uk spoke to jones, macintyer and stoops. The person would not tell me who had face to face interviews. But they were adamant that stoops was the top choice based on the interview and the only coach who was offered a singable or " commitable" deal. $$$ amounts were discussed with jones and macintyer but were not offered a job. In fact, stoops is/was the most expensive of the three.
This is proven by the fact that jones is chasing every job, even the Colorado job at this point.
